Williams Mill: Ontario’s Old Mills

These three 19th century buildings found in Glen Williams have included a gristmill, sawmill and flourmill. They have been renovated to house an interesting collection of artist’ studios and galleries. The first building, a saw mill, was built by Benajah Williams and his sons, Joel and Charles, about 1825. The oldest of the remaining buildings probably dates to the 1850s.
