White-throated Sparrow, Zonotrichia albicollis
One of the most common sound of the Northern Forests is the White-throated Sparrow, Zonotrichia albicollis. It comes in two color morphs, a tan striped and a white striped.
During migration there can be huge numbers of this species to be seen moving along the forest floor searching for food in the leaf litter.
