Upper Balls Falls: Ontario Waterfalls

A short walk upstream from Balls Falls is found the impressive Upper Balls Falls. It can be reached by following the trail on either side of the river.

It can be reached by going north on Highway 24 (Victoria St.) off of Highway 401 Niagara. As you are going up the escarpment, turn left on Sixth Ave, and drive a short way to the parking area. It is well signed.

Hoggs Falls: Ontario Waterfalls

To reach Hoggs Falls, turn west on Grey Rd. 4 off of Highway 10 at Flesherton. After 1 mile (1.6 km.) turn left at East Back Line and then turn right on Lower Valley Rd. After about .5 mile (.8 km.) you will find parking on the left side. The falls are a short walk from the parking lot.

Hoggs Falls are a lovely woodland falls unspoiled by human intervention. With care you can reach the base of the falls for photography.

Walters Falls: Ontario Waterfalls

Walters Falls can be reached by turning east on Grey Rd. 40 off Highway 10 near Chatsworth. Grey Rd 40 turns into Grey Rd. 29 and after about 15 km (9 miles) you will reach the village of Walters Falls. Turn onto Front St and drive to the end. There are a lot of man made items in the area which downgrades the natural look but you will find the nearby  Walter’s Mill and raceway interesting and photogenic.
