  1. in the summer, those are the most beautiful, gentle waterfalls. In spring runoff, it’s a torrent. and yet there is a house down there, now falling down … somebody used to live in the middle of all that spring turbulence and gentle summer cascades. A life of contrasts …

  2. where is this mill located i have tryed to find information on how to get to it but cant find any directions not eaven on google maps any help would be apreciated

  3. Hi Brian,

    From my book:

    “GPS Location: N 45º 50.882′ W 79º 22.515′
    Directions: from Highway 11 in South River, take Marie St east and go north on Mill Rd. to the bridge over the South River. The mill is to the left.”
