Red Trillium

Red Trillium

Much less common then the white species of Trillium, it is even rarer to find a Red Trillium, Trillium erectum, that is in such excellent shape. It is found in the northeast in North America, extending into the south at higher elevations. Its other common name is the Wakerobin

  3. Beautiful image! Love the shapes, the details and the colors: the red and pale green of the flower against the cold blue gray of the tree.
