Old Killaloe Mill: Ontario’s Old Mills

Found in the small village of Old Killaloe, it was originally built in 1849, and after a fire re-built in 1870. These images where taken in a downpour.

  1. We just bought this mill from the previous owners. If anyone is interested in taking a look, let me know on this site, or swing by next spring(2013) if you are in the area. It has some interesting equipment inside that we hope to restore.(At least partially)

    We’ll be moving in in Winter, and starting renovations next spring and hope to eventually turn it into a B&B.

    Let the mill renovation adventures begin 🙂 A new website will be created ( to share our experiences in renovating the mill with friends and family. Cheers
