Built in the town of Marchmont from local materials around 1850, it operated until the 1990s. It is now a private residence.

My father Joseph Charpontier was the last miller in 1990 and my grand parents owned it before him it was a really cool place I remember shoveling grain out of the big blue truck into the shoots under the front steps then going up into the granary on the too floor and shoveling the grain into the bagging shoots its pretty cool also we use to drain the mill pond every spring and sometimes in the summer and crawl thru the big metal flum to clean out debris many awesome stories and memories the flume is still there and we still have the waterfalls the new owners did a awesome job restoring it into a house and if you ever near the area its really nice place just to stop and take a walk there are a few artist in the are also anyone wants any information leave a post

  5. The river is the North River runs from Bass lake and winds down to Coldwater
