    The number of species that has become extinct in Hawaii is tragic, and there are a number of species of birds on the brink.

  2. It is such a shame that so many of the colorful Hawaiian birds are endangered do to non-native species.

  3. A beautiful goose! Introduced species, such as snakes, goats, rats…, are almost impossible to eradicate, and, sadly, ultimate extinction is the fate of many island species.
