Hamilton’s ugliest waterfall: Ontario Waterfalls

Greensville Falls

Greensville Falls

Due to the work of some dedicated individuals, over 140 waterfalls have been located in the Hamilton Region. It follows that one of those waterfalls is uglier than all the rest, and Greensville Falls has my vote. It is often dry, filled with rubbish and has a less than beautiful plastic sided building at the crest.

GPS Location: N 43° 16.8′ W 79° 59.517′

Rating:

Warning: It can be dangerous to view and photograph waterfalls. The footing can be wet and slippery, and an accidental fall can result in serious injury or death. Note also that many sections of waterfalls are on private property. Please respect these rights.

  1. Harold,
You have such a great blog! One day, I hope to go visit some of these wonderful gems you post about. I think this waterfall is still nice… Minus the pipe crossing its path. Keep up the great work!

  2. Thanks Dwayne. Maybe it would be better after a rain or spring melt
