Nature Notes

  1. Thank you for your wonderful presentation / series of the owl. Did you take those all in one session??!!! No, I suspect.

I especially like the music which accompanied the video.

    Thank you for sharing.

  3. Thanks Joseph.

Amazingly they were all in one day in mid-January/05. It was near Orillia, Ontario and from dusk till dawn I counted 44 different owls. It seemed like every field had its own owl. All of the shots were taken from my car.

    Thanks for your comment, Harold

  7. Thanks Bob, I’m glad you liked it.

Your site is looking great, I didn’t know a PBase account could be organized so well. You’ve put a lot of thought and some great images into it.

    Cheers, Harold

  9. Hello Harold,
I liked the opening wind and the guitar, and Oh yes, the Great Gray Owls too.
Congratulations, I see the master is still at work.

  10. Thanks Jim:

I was wandering if we would get an incursion this year, they usually show up about this time, but so far only a few reports.

  15. Fantastic shots of the owls! I particularly like the flight shot at 19 seconds where the owl seems to be staring right down the lens. Great work.
