
Gray-crowned Yellowthroat, Geothlypis poliocephala
The Gray-crowned Yellowthroat, Geothlypis poliocephala, is normally found from Belize to Panama but this rarity was found at Sabal Palm Sanctuary in Texas in 2005 where it was the first documented breeding record.

Harold, the quality of these photos is amazing. You’re a great photographer. Very interesting that this particular bird has a band on it’s leg. Do you suppose it was banded in South America?
