There are a number of sites where music is offered under a Creative Commons License which will allow you to add music to a project without breaking Copyright Laws. There are different types of CC License though, so check on whats offered when you find some music you like.

Here are some of my favorites

Jamendo

This is a great place. They have a huge amount of music available in different genres and it is all nicely tagged to help you search.

Podsafe Music Network

This is another one of the best, easy to navigate and a wide range available.

Incompetech

A site of CC Music provided by Kevin MacLeod. That guy must be busy!!

Musopen

A large collection of Free Domain Classical Music

Opsound

A site offered by several groups of musicians.

CCMixer

Remixes and sampling

DMusic

One of the first CC Sites

GarageBand

They tend to be new artists but you can certainly find some excellent music.

Dance-Industries

An interesting site which often has something different.
