Egan Chute: Ontario Waterfalls

Egan Chute: Ontario Waterfalls

Found in Egan Chute Provincial Park north of Bancroft on Highway 28. The entrance is just before the bridge over York River. You can drive to the end of the paved section, then a five minute walk brings you to the falls. You will pass the remains of the Goulding-Keene Quarry on the way which has been a source for rock hounds before it was banned when the park was formed.

  1. Excellent photos of gorgeous scenery.
I will have to take a weekend to visit these myself.

  2. I’ve photographed here; it’s a wonderful spot. Excellent exposure values in both these pictures! Is the second shot HDR?

  3. Nice to see the nanny state is banning rockhounds now.
