Coutances Cathedral
The first cathedral on this site in the city of Coutances was built in the 5th Century and destroyed by fire during the Norman invasion in the 9th Century. This is the 3rd cathedral which was completed in 1274.It has survived several calamities through the years and is a beautiful structure to visit today.
