Description: One of only three Vermont bridges using the Paddleford Truss. During a visit in 2011, this bridge was looking quite ragged. Privately owned, it was moved to this location in 1960.

Thetford Center (Sayres) Covered Bridge, Vermont

Builders: Not known
Description: In 1963 the center concrete pier was added to allow for heavier traffic load. The 1997 repairs were required after a truck truck attemted to drive through with its bed raised, destroying part of the ceiling supports.

Description: Originally built in 1883 as an uncovered box pony with kingpost, it was given another half height layer of multiple kingposts when roofed in 1904. The only other bridge like this is nearby Guilford Covered Bridge.
