  1. The kolea’s trip from Alaska to Hawaii is non-stop. Do they fly like the goose and honk to help each other? Do they fly in a particular formation to take advantage of the lifting power of each bird? How do they sustain their life during the 3,000+ mile journey? What innate power helps them find these tiny islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Other information would be helpful. Mahalo
