The Big Chute Marine Railway is located at this spot.It was a method of moving boats across this rough stretch of water. The boats drive onto a bed and are carried to the other side. It is a massive structure and well supplied with information.

  1. I love that top photo-I feel like I’m in a canoe heading right down the middle. You can really see far back too.
