  2. Hi Marilyn,

Have you asked at Upper Canada Village? They may have some historical material.

  4. Do you put together these sorts of things professionally
or just as a interest? They are great.

  5. I would be interested in contacting Marilyn Arvizo as I am presently researching the history of Clayton Ontario which is where Edward Bellamy built his mills. Is there a way of you putting me in touch? You may share my email with her.

  8. The building is amazing. I did not know it is an exhibit in Upper Canada Village. Chauncey Hall Bellamy is my Great Great Great Grandfather. I have just recently been to Athens to obtain info on the Bellamy’s along with several other different families related to me. Is the a way to write Upper Canada Village to get further information/pictures of Bellamy Mills and possible family pictures.

  9. Hi Deborah: There are two sisters Myrtle and Lorna Johnson and who are members of the Leeds and Grenville Genealogical society who are descendants of Chauncey Bellamy. They have lots of information about the family. They do not have internet at home but they volunteer at the Archives in Brockville on a weekly basis. You can contact them there through the general email to the Society.
https://leedsandgrenville.ogs.on.ca/index.php/about-us/ A visit to the Archives in Brockville would be helpful to you but call ahead and arrange to go on a day when at least one of the Johnson sisters will be there.
PS I misspoke in an above comment. I should have said Clayton Ontario is where Edward Bellamy BOUGHT his mills rather than BUILT….new information found after this comment was made.
