  1. Hi there. Great picture of the Barred Owl, hopefully I will see a Barn Owl someday. I live in Toronto, and this past Sunday, my wife, Jean, and I came upon a Barred Owl in Rouge National Park, near Markham, Ontario. This was the second time in six weeks that we have come upon, and filmed, an owl out in the wilds. The first was a Saw-Whet Owl. Prior to these two sightings, we had never seen an owl in its natural habitat. Needless to say, it has been an exciting six weeks. Our pictures and video of the Barred Owl sighting are posted on our blog at: http://frametoframe.ca/photo-essay-barred-owl-sighting-markham-ontario/

  2. I love this picture. Would love to use it for my FB Cover. I am crazy about owls. Came face to face with one that flew in front of my car and perched on a neighbors mailbox. I stopped the car and rolled down the window and it turned it’s head and looked at me. We stayed fixed on each other for a while and I had to drive away. It was a wonderful moment.
