  1. I have enjoyed this very much, I especially want to congratulate you for the choice of mucic. As a kindred spirit like yourself it was nice to be transported for those precious moments in the peace and quiet of the outdoors in Winter. I liked the solitude that you have conveyed.
    Regards.
    Jim.

  2. Thanks Jim:

I agree with you. My favorite birding spot in winter is Haldiman, the roads are deserted, and it is wonderful to move about in the quiet.

I love your Great Gray shots, a real treat.

    Cheers, Harold

  4. Thanks Ray:

The juvenile in the photo has the endearing habit of sitting in an open tree and is easy to photograph from the car. It was backlit this morning, so perhaps an afternoon would be better light.

I see you have some new shots up on your site. I love the Pileated in flight.

    Cheers, Harold

  5. Just a correction – the power plant in Nanticoke (Haldimand County) discharges into Lake Erie.
