A view from a short photography trip on the north shore of Lake Superior a few seasons ago. I love the country there, there is something there that brings back to me what it feels like to be a Canadian. The Batchawana River flows into Lake Superior between Sault Ste Marie and Wawa. I was able to drive to this section on a one lane logging road and saw no other sign of humans for several hours, particularly noticeable was the lack of road noise. The trees have just begun to change color, and those that have are set off nicely by their still green neighbors.
