The Skywalk, Toronto

The Skywalk, Toronto

In the late 1980’s an enclosed walkway called the Skywalk was built from Toronto’s Union Station to nearby Skydome. It is a great design and the many windows reveal the buildings in the city’s core.

Elora Gorge: Ontario Waterfalls

Elora Gorge can be accessed from the town of Elora. Look for a parking lot by the main street bridge beside an abandoned furniture factory and you will be beside the best part of it. Looking across the falls, you will see the Elora Mill. The whole area is worth exploring, there is a dam and a mill race on the other side of the bridge. You can access trails from behind the abandoned factory or make your way to a park on the other side which will get you to the river level.

The interesting rock formation at the crest of the falls is known as the Tooth of Time.

Downstream can be found the Little Elora Falls.
