When Built: 1990 (Original) 1856

Builders: Lancaster County, James C. Carpenter (Original)

Description: The original bridge built by James Carpenter was twice badly damaged by flooding. The replacement completed in 1990 is an excellent strucure done with a suitably authentic truss system as well as attractive wingwalls at the approaches.

Description: The bridge was named after Captain Charles Harding (1915-1944), from Olmsted Falls, who was killed in action during World War II in the battle of Normandy.
